Volunteers are welcome at New Beginnings 365 days a year!
As a New Beginnings Animal Rescue volunteer, you are part of a team committed to providing
quality care and attention to the cats in our care while making our community a better place for
animals and the people who love them. No matter how much time you have to give each
month, volunteering at the shelter makes a huge difference to the animals who call New
Beginnings Animal Rescue, “home.”
As a volunteer, there are all kinds of opportunities that support our work. Whether you want to
socialize cats, volunteer for a clean and feed shifts, help with hands-on shelter projects, or
assist at an event!

HOLD A FUNDRAISING EVENT
An event for New Beginnings is a fun and easy way to share your passion for rescue with friends
while fundraising to support our mission. We always love when our supporters want to host
events on our behalf.
On average, l it costs $15/day per pet for, basic shots, testing, vetting, food, bathing &
grooming, and micro-chipping. We are determined to continue saving as many cats as we can
and together with your help we can raise enough support to make it happen. Your event will
help us to raise these funds.
What type of events can help New Beginnings?
Consider a Pet Supply Drive and collect items from our Wish List. We are always in need of pet
food and supplies, or other ideas you may have!
